Veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-coloured plastic resin or porcelain. They’re designed to cover the front side of the teeth and are used to correct poorly formed or slightly wonky teeth, to mask internal stains or to restore partially broken down teeth.
Veneers are bonded to the tooth with tooth-coloured resin cement. The process is irreversible, because the dentist has to remove a small amount of your tooth enamel to accommodate the shell.
You’ll need several appointments to complete this treatment.
